ATSC
ATSC, the Advanced TV Systems Committee, is a standardization body in charge of developing ATSC-M/H, a standard for bringing ATSC broadcast services to battery-powered mobile and handheld receivers. DVB-H, the specification for bringing broadcast services to battery-powered handheld receivers, was formally adopted as an ETSI standard in November 2004. DAPA (DVB-H Asia Pacific Alliance)
The DVB-H Asia-Pacific Alliance (DAPA) is a mobile TV advocacy group established by DVB-H stakeholders in the region to promote adoption of Mobile TV throughout the Asia-Pacific, as well as to encourage sustainable business and regulatory models for new mobile services.
DAPA also acts as a DVB-H regional forum for social networking and sharing of best practice and aims to keep member stakeholders up to date with developments in the areas of standardisation and new service initiatives.
OMVC
Open Mobile Video Coalition is an industry initiative by a number of leading ATSC broadcasters. The OMVC promotes ATSC technology that it's members have deployed nationwide in the U.S.
