Mobile DTV Alliance facilitates industry collaboration to ensure interoperable mobile TV services in North America and globally. Fundamental to our approach is to apply a common set of service technologies over a range of possible broadcast bearers. Among bearer systems are DVB-H® (Digital Video Broadcast-Handheld), open standard developed by the DVB Project and enjoys broad industry support from more than 50 companies, and ATSC-M/H, a new terrestrial ATSC based standard for mobile and handheld terminals enjoying support by all North American terrestrial broadcasters.
